Played off White Tees
1/4 of combined handicaps apply (maximum 18), to one decimal place.
i.e. Player 1 7.4Hcp
Player 2 15.1Hcp
= 22.5Hcp
Allowance 5.6Hcp (Taken off Gross Score)
Each player to have minimum 8 counting drives.
Played over 18 Holes
Each member of the team plays off a different tee, Blue,White,Yellow,Red
Once this is decided each member plays every hole of the same colour tee.

Individual Match Play against the Par for the course
If a player makes a nett birdie or better he wins that hole and marks it with a +.
If a player makes a nett bogey or worse he loses the hole and marks it down with a -.
A player halves the hole if they score a nett par and this is marked with a 0.
The lost holes are subtracted from the won holes to give a final score.

To enter the Gross Championship you must have a valid handicap.
To enter the Nett Championship you must have a valid handicap and 3 qualifiers within the year.
The first round is drawn for tee times, the second round is in reverse position order.
If you are unable to play both days you must inform the competition Secretary before you start play on day one.
Anyone who fails to attend day 2 who hasn’t notified the club prior will face a club fine as per the club rules.
Presentation takes place after the final group have finished on day 2

Stableford Format
Normal stableford round scoring in the normal way, however if you play a shot that you think you can better by playing again you may take a mulligan.
At that point you must make your marker aware that you are playing a mulligan and you can drop your ball in the normal manner and replay the shot under no penalty.
This includes short putts if you have a mulligan but you are only allowed 1 mulligan per hole.
Mulligan Allowance as per Handicap
Hcp 0.0 – 4.4 = 1 mulligan
Hcp 4.5 – 8.4 = 2 mulligans
Hcp 8.5 – 12.4 = 3 mulligans
Hcp 12.5- 16.4 = 4 mulligans
Hcp 16.5 – 20.4 = 5 mulligans
Hcp 20.5- 28.0 = 6 mulligans

You are allocated 71 shots (Course Par) Plus Handicap – 11 Shots this should enable if playing to your handicap to complete the 15th hole. when your allotted shots run out you make a note on your card where your ball comes to rest.
i.e. 75 Yards from 15th Green
240 yards from 16th Green
12 feet from 17th hole
etc.
The player who reaches the furthest point on the course is the winner.
Full shot allowance sheet is on the Main Board.

Before you start your team decide who is to have the yellow counting holes in order.
i.e. Player 1 must score on holes 1,5,9,13,17
Player 2 must score on holes 2,6,10,14,18
Player 3 must score on holes 3,7,11, 15
Player 4 must score on holes 4,8,12,16
To score on each hole the counting yellow spot player plus the best score from 3 can count.

= 4pts
if the yellow spot player does not score on his allotted hole the team score is 0pts
