Captains Charity 2020

 

This year my nominated Charity is the Nottingham Hospitals Charity

The NHS has always been held in high regard, but in the current corona virus pandemic their true value has really come to the forefront, along with many other key workers.

Our donations will help fund improvements in the following key areas:

• Life-saving equipment
• Staff development
• Medical research
• Enhanced facilities

All donations and fundraising is invested in Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Trust is made up of our local hospitals – Nottingham City Hospital, the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham Children’s Hospital and Ropewalk House.

With the COV-19 situation our usual charity events will need reviewing and it is likely that we will need to be very creative to be able hold any of these events safely.
