Dear Members

In this report and I wish to focus on my Captain’s Charity (Maggie’s Cancer Care).

I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of the members of Ramsdale Park. To say that for past year we have been living with our friend Mr CovID the amount of funds that the Club has raised is astonishing.

The Main Club raised a staggering £15.000 which was presented to Charlotte Taylor (who was representing Maggies) at the Presentation Evening on 5th November … which was a very good night.

Then, on the 14th December the Par 3 Club held their Christmas Dinner & Presentation Day, to which I was invited. I must say what a fantastic day. At the end of the presentation I was invited to go up and receive a cheque from the Par 3 Club for the charity funds they have raised, which was £1.000. Therefore a Grand Total of £16.000 went to help people and their family’s suffering with that Nasty C word.

So to all Members of Ramsdale Park, you should be very proud … and I would just like to say thank you very much. Let us hope that next year we can support the new Captain in the same way.
